Music In The Grove

The General Wine and Brew's first outdoor music festival featuring four bands. Admission tickets in advance are $15 per person and sold through The General's website. Admission tickets the day of event are $20. Children under 12 are admitted free. Bands start playing at 4pm and end at 10pm. Outdoor stage front seating is available, but limited. It is suggested to bring a lawn chair. Wildfire Wood Fired Pizza will be onsite, as well as Smokin' Hill's Barbecue. Event t-shirts and drink holders and popcorn for sale. Outdoor games, corn hole, beer pong. There will be an outdoor bar with soft drinks too. No outside beverages of any kind are allowed. Performance times are as follows:
Eck McCanless 4:15pm to 5:15
Eck McCanless is a songwriter who plays guitar, and sometimes harmonica and drums. His day job is running his own pottery shop in Seagrove, NC. Expect to hear some original music as well as some rock 'n' roll favorites and some country classics.

Lost Wages with Danny Mull - 5:30pm to 6:30
Brian, David and Danny play 70's to Current Classic Rock and Country. When not playing together Lost Wages plays in the western end of the state and Danny keeps busy on the Randolph County wine and Cheese circuit.

Bad Penny - 6:45pm to 7:45
An eclectic group of musicians covering a wide range of musical genres, from cover songs to original songs, from Americana to blues. Bad Penny revolves around core members Ron Baughman, Gwen Auman and Ricky Cox.

Cory Luetjen and the Traveling Blues Band - 8:00pm to 10:00
This North Carolina based band is a two time blues challenge winning group and a regional favorite. They perform a high energy and charismatic mix of blues, funk and beach music.
