Mus:Ed Weekend: Virtual Music Education Fair 2021

Mus:Ed Weekend aims to provide prospective students with in-depth information on studying at music conservatories and colleges in the region. The event features exclusive information sessions with over 10 institutions from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, and the United States of America. Official representatives from the institutions will share information on course structure, admission requirements, application process, as well as student life.

Mus:Ed Weekend offers an opportunity for all students who are interested in widening their knowledge and honing their skills as they further their passion in musical studies. Besides that, Mus:Ed Weekend 2021 is organised by The Rondo Production and sponsored by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). This event is also part of the #SaveTheArts Campaign, which aims to raise funds for our community partner - the Performing Arts Center of Penang (penangpac), Malaysia. The event will feature the following institutions: 

• Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore
• Mahidol University, College of Music, Thailand
• Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Australia
• Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, USA
• Boston Conservatory at Berklee, USA
• Berklee College of Music, USA
• University Malaya, Department of Music, Malaysia
• Universiti Sains Malaysia, School of the Arts, Malaysia
• UCSI University, Institute of Music, Malaysia
• Malaysian Institute of Art, Malaysia

The 2-day virtual event is expected to welcome 300 participants and onlookers, which promises to be an eye-opening musical experience. Registration is now open and free for all.
