The first feature film shot at the new Yellowstone Film Ranch movie backlot in Pray, Montana, "Murder in Yellowstone City" mixes the classic, Golden Age Hollywood genre with a murder mystery anchored by a star-studded cast. Centered around the once peaceful and booming Yellowstone City (an actual town in Paradise Valley, MT), the movie follows a sheriff (a riveting Gabriel Byrne) that immediately accuses and imprisons a Black man (Isaiah Mustafa) after a local prospector is assassinated. As the murders progress, however, the city inhabitants quickly discover that everyone has something to hide, leading YC down a bloody path to a final showdown that not all will survive. Not Rated, the film runs 126 minutes.

Directed by Richard Grey this action-packed western thriller also features Thomas Jane (The Mist), , Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect), Aimee Garcia (Lucifer), Emma Kenney (Shameless), Nat Wolff (Paper Towns), and Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws).
