Moving Forward, Thinking Ahead: The Value and Ideals of a "Good" Education, lecture by Leeva C Chung. What constitutes a good education? How do we measure a good education? In this session, we will discuss ways in which higher education can prepare and support students with the skills and experiences needed for success in the community and in the workforce.

Leeva C. Chung, Ph.D., is a professor of Communication Studies. Leeva enthusiastically developed a unique and innovative style of teaching which some describe as "organized chaos," but refers to methods of engagement such as project-based learning and integrating theory into practice within the context of the classroom. Her advocacy for student driven pedagogy has been recognized with numerous awards on campus, such as the Davies Award for Teaching Excellence, Faculty Changemaker Champion, Outstanding Preceptor Award, and the Innovation in Community Engagement Award.
