Moonlight Magic: Mid-Autumn Celebration

This annual event at Gateway Theatre celebrates the timeless tradition of family, heritage, and cultural beauty, with a unique focus on passing down traditions through generations.

Lantern play is part of the tradition of Mid-Autumn and families will kick off the festivities by crafting beautiful lanterns by hand and enjoying free mooncakes. Attendees of all ages will have the chance to learn the significance of lantern-making while crafting their own masterpieces. Families are encouraged to do the crafting together, then carry their handmade lantern as we begin a breathtaking procession into Minoru Park.
