The Ogres are Coming!
They are coming to the Hennessy Theatre that is! Momotaro: Peach Boy Hero opens April 17th at the University of New Hampshire. This traditional Japanese Fairy Tale comes alive with LIFE SIZE puppets, created by UNH’s very own Puppet Master Carol Jo Fisher. You have seen her work numerous times before including in Prescott Parks production of Shrek the Musical.
Momotaro: Peach Boy Hero is the story of a boy who was found in the pit of a peach. He grows up strong and must journey to save his family. Follow along as he meets new friends, travels by land and sea, and battles the Ogre King. This show is appropriate for all ages and even includes special seating arrangements so that children can sit right on the front of the stage and really become a part of the action. Shows will be April 17th and 18th at 6:30pm, April 19th at 7pm, and April 20th at 10am and 2:30pm, in the Hennessy Theatre at UNH Durham.
