Headlining Milwaukappella 2022 is Chicago's most talked-about new a cappella band - RADIUS.
RADIUS started as a quarantine passion project but has blossomed into a luminous, swirling association of voices that has propelled the artistry of these five talented and hardworking friends to new heights of vocal inspiration. From the moment their mics touch their lips audiences feast on a joyful banquet of R+B, hip-hop, pop and savory soul hits. Soaring leads, smooth harmonies and deep, thumping rhythms showcase the power, versatility and emotion RADIUS brings onstage.
Also taking Milwaukappella's stage, UW Madison's fabulous FUNDAMENTALLY SOUND. Fun, energetic, and intensely passionate, Fundamentally Sound is considered one of the leading groups in collegiate a cappella today.
Plus, you'll also get a chance to hear and see some of the best young vocal talent in Southeastern Wisconsin! The high school and college students who attend the dayside Milwaukappella workshop open the show for RADIUS and Fundamentally Sound. These young groups will blow you away!
And remember, this is a fundraiser for The Rotary Club of Mitchell Field. 100% of the money earned goes to our RotaryHOME project bringing resources and comfort to teens facing homelessness and housing insecurity.
