Memorial Day Commemoration

Punta Gorda, Florida, May 10, 2023: The Military Heritage Museum located at 900 West Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, Florida is sponsoring a Memorial Day Commemoration on May 29, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The opening ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. with guest speaker, USMC Veteran Rev. Kevin Shaw, Sr of the First Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Exhibits will be open from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. All veterans will be admitted free, adults $14.00 and children $5.00. A complimentary hot dog lunch will be provided from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. A documentary: The War Memorials will be shown at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall of Heroes.
