About the Civic Auditorium

Standing tall within the Maple City of La Porte, Indiana, the Civic Auditorium is a monument to a community. Given as a gift to the city in 1930, the Civic Auditorium offers a rich history of laughter, tears, and celebrations.

Since its dedication in 1930, the Civic Auditorium has touched thousands of lives. The building has been the backdrop to larger community events such as the annual Healthcare Foundation of La Porte's Holiday at the Pops Symphony Concert, the La Porte High School Prom and the La Pour Brew Fest. At the same time, couples have found the historic brick and limestone building to be the perfect setting for a charming, intimate wedding or reception.
