  • Analyze phase: Analyzing data to identify root causes of problems and process variations
  • Improve phase: Developing and implementing solutions to address identified issues
  • Control phase: Establishing control plans to sustain improvements and monitor ongoing performance

Module 3: Lean Principles and Tools

  • Value stream mapping: Identifying value-added and non-value-added activities in a process
  • 5S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
  • Just-in-Time (JIT) and Kanban systems: Reducing waste and improving flow
  • Poka-Yoke (error-proofing): Designing processes to prevent errors and defects
  • Kaizen: Continuous improvement and small incremental changes

Module 4: Six Sigma Tools and Techniques

  • Statistical process control (SPC): Monitoring and controlling process performance using statistical methods

Methodology

The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web based tutorials and group work. All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.
