There is probably no artist we've seen more over the years than Walt. There's just something spiritual about a WW concert - might have something to do with Walt's time in the seminary, might be his songwriting, might be his singing or playing ... or it just might be him.

A Texas Hill Country icon, here's how Walt describes his own music: " ... I hope my songs are "real." To me, they come from a real place - my life and its challenges, fears, hopes. And we all have those, and we all have a bunch of those in common. Most of our lives are pretty similar, right? "

With a painter's eye for detail, and music firmly rooted in the great American sound, Marc sings about circus retirees, expatriates in Florida rum bars, union iron workers, old poets, aimless New York City debutantes, near death car crashes, hard-nosed fishermen and of course, the changes that experience brings to everyone.

About his music, Marc says "... I try to write about people and situations that interest and entertain me. Subjects and places that I feel a connection with and that are unique in a quiet way. Real people and places caught in the moment, almost like a documentary film or a novel ..."

The Connecticut-based quartet, The Carleans blend their diverse musical backgrounds to create a captivating sound that had been garnering much attention from New England to Florida to Texas.
