Our annual event - History Harvest 2022 - will be held this year on Sunday August 7 (weather permitting) near the Society's museum on the northside grounds of the ND State Railroad Museum.
Volunteers were available to interview guests for oral histories, photograph artifacts and scan photographs artifacts relating to Mandan's history. The information gathered will be preserved in the Mandan Historical Society's archives and made available for research by members, and/or used on its website or used in future museum displays.

A new outdoor activity this year. Participants (kids 6 to 96) will can make their OWN BUTTER from cream like the pioneers with their own small-scale apparatus. Curious on how? Join us at 2:00 PM for the free, instructor-led demonstration. Space is limited to participate in the demonstration. Pre-registration required; but ALL ARE INVITED to watch the fun. Also new this year will be the introduction of two special mascots for the kids. MANDIANA JOAN and MANDIANA JOE are twin siblings who just love exploring our city's history.
