Malvern Breathe Easy 7th Anniversary

We at Malvern Breathe Easy are celebrating our 7th anniversary with a fun afternoon party complete with bubbly and cake. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported us over the years, including past speakers and welcome new ones. 

About Malvern Breathe Easy

We are a friendly, community-based support group established through the British Lung Foundation (now Asthma and Lung UK) for all those affected by a respiratory condition; from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and asthma. All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings which are held at The Cube on the third Friday of the month from 1pm-3pm, including family, friends and carers.
Here we offer a chance to share experiences and stories in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and benefit from a variety of guest speakers offering expert advice on all aspects of living with lung condition.
Working closely with local health care professionals, we endeavor to provide grass roots support, advice, friendship and real help to the many people affected with lung disease in the Malvern area; from practical matters such as transport and household tasks, to tackling issues of isolation and everyday worries over prescriptions and benefits. 
In addition, we aim to help raise awareness and promote the nationwide Asthma and Lung UK campaign for better laws, research and services. Through its extended network of support groups up and down the UK, Asthma and Lung Uk is at the front-line of community care, helping to make a difference to thousands affected by breathing difficulties. 
Our talks provide a much-needed insight into respiratory disease which affects 1 in 5 in the UK today. Most of all, we want our members to have fun and together, find ways to understand and better manage their conditions. 
As we celebrate past successes, our aim remains, to provide support for all those who suffer from a lung condition and to engage the wider community to raise awareness and funds for research into lung disease.
We are building a network across the community, involving health care professionals, activities and related support groups for our members. This can provide a great source of information for events, up to date trials and treatments and other methods to benefit those living with breathlessness, whatever the cause. 
Together we hope to reach out to all those who cope with breathlessness, offering friendship and help to find a way to breathe easy. 
With the help of the community we hope to be here for many years to come.

everyone is welcome. 
The British Lung Foundation's motto was; 'We offer hope, help and a voice', to that Malvern Breathe Easy would like to add 'a smile'.
