Máiréad Nesbitt is a Grammy and Emmy® nominated artist and composer, and a founding member of the global phenomenon Celtic Woman. She is the featured Celtic Violinist on eleven Celtic Woman albums, each achieving #1 slot on the Billboard World Music Chart.

Máiréad has two Billboard charting solo albums to her credit, Hibernia and Raining Up. In addition, a special recording of her family album, Devil's Bit Sessions. Máiréad is a multiple recipient of the Irish Music Awards, Irish Music Magazine Awards and All Ireland Fiddle champion. Máiréad is featured soloist on Disney's Tinker Bell movies and Epcot's Harmonious Live (with Lindsey Stirling). Máiréad debuted on Broadway as a rock violinist with Rocktopia and has performed as a concert soloist with symphony orchestras worldwide.
