Maine Needs Community Walk/Run - 24 May 2025

Come together with community for our first Maine Needs Community Walk/Run. This event is a love letter to Maine - an opportunity to celebrate all that makes our state a truly special place to live. Open to all skill levels and abilities, we invite Maine residents and those from away to gather and walk, run, wheel, push a stroller—whatever works for you!— all in the spirit of solidarity and supporting others.

We encourage you to highlight the universal, human need for basic essentials by wearing your basics (bras, underwear, etc) on the outside of your clothes. Or wear your highest socks. Get creative and have fun while we raise funds to help meet the material needs of individuals and families all throughout Maine.

Each event will also feature a donation drive for some of the Summer's top needed items. Please ask those who are cheering you on to bring bottles of tick spray, sunblock, deodorant and bars of soap to help keep us stocked and able to fill requests.
