Cuyahoga Falls greatest field, Blossom Music Center, invites Luke Combs Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Combs started singing at an early age. While in high school, he joined several vocal groups and performed solo at iconic New York concert venue Carnegie Hall. After graduating from high school, Combs attended Appalachian State University, where he formed a band and began gigging locally.In February In 2015, Combs teamed up with Scott Moffatt, the former lead singer and guitarist of the Canadian band The Moffatts, to produce his debut single, "Hurricane." The self-released track enjoyed strong iTunes sales and debuted at No. 46 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in July 2015. Combs used the money from the sale of "Hurricane" to complete his third EP, This One's for You. The EP was released in November 2015 and reached No. 24 on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart.In October 2016, Combs signed to a joint venture with record labels River House Artists and Columbia Nashville and re-released his single "Hurricane" that same year. The single peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Country Airplay chart in May 2017. Following the success of "Hurricane," Combs released his debut studio album, This One's for You, in June 2017. The album garnered critical acclaim and peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart and No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.
