Live Nativity Pageant Petersburg WUMC

The Christmas Story will come alive on the grounds of Wesley United Methodist Church in Petersburg on Sunday, December 18th during a performance at 6:00 pm. (Outdoor seating will be provided,)Journey to Bethlehem and see the shepherds in the field tending their sheep aside a fire to keep warm. Follow the star above the stable where you will view the manger scene complete with barnyard animals, including camels. After the pageant, you are invited to view the manger scene and animals and take pictures with your family as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the real reason for the season. It is our hope that as a community we discover on this night that there’s more to the season than the race for commercialism. We hope this night will bring those who attend a time of peace and hope. End the night with homemade cookies and hot chocolate. All activities are free and open to the community.
