Little Joe y La Familia Make a Return Engagement at The Events Center at Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino

Little Joe Y La Familia, the popular Tejano group with more than 60 years of performing history, will perform an all-ages show on Saturday, May 11, doors open at 7 pm., show at 8 pm.

Little Joe Y La Familia will dazzle the audience with music that blends Tex-Mex, blues, country and rock-and-roll. Their music has transcended borders, earning them a spot as one of the most popular Tex-Mex bands in the music industry.

With five Grammy wins and 11 nominations in the Mexican American/Tejano category and Regional Mexican category, Little Joe Y La Familia have established themselves as long-time leaders in the genre.

With a solid reputation as one of the classiest band leaders, Ruben Ramos carries on his family legacy through music and events. Ramos was inducted into the Tejano Music Hall of Fame in 1998 and later received Best Male Vocalist in 1999. Roberto Pulido's career goes back five decades with him winning the first Tejano Music Award for male vocalist of the year and male entertainer in 1981. He has been recognized as a Tejano music pioneer for introducing the accordion and saxophone into his music.
