This is a juried show, with over $2,000.00 in prizes.
The show will be held in the Lititz Springs Park, Route 501, in Lititz, just north of the square and next to the Wilbur Chocolate Factory. There is no admission charge for the show.
This art show has been held the last Saturday of July and has been a tradition in Lititz for 58 years. The late Floyd Hackman started the Art Show, when he was the president of the Village Art Association of Lititz. The show has grown along with the association which is now, Lititz Art Association. Originally the show was on the sidewalks of Lititz, but in 1982, it was moved to the cooler, beautiful Lititz Springs Park. Sadly, this will be the final year to have the Outdoor Show in the park, after 43 years. The Lititz Art Association is now in the process of looking for a new venue for the Outdoor Show.
Plan to spend a day in the park meeting the artists and enjoying the fine work they have on display and for sale. Lunch can be purchased from several concessions and enjoyed in the shade of the pavilions in the park.
