Join AARP Virginia for the Life@50+ Academy: Planning for Your Health, Wealth and Happiness! For more than 60 years, AARP has been a 'wise friend' and 'fierce defender' helping individuals ensure that their money, health and happiness live as long as they do.

This special half-day event, designed to help you make plans for better living, features keynote speaker Pamela A. Saunders, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Director of the Aging and Health Program at Georgetown University. Gain insights about the positive power of arts and creativity on aging from Saunders' nearly 30 years of research and teaching on these subjects.

You'll get information and resources about estate planning, caregiving costs, downsizing and decluttering, brain health, Social Security and more. This is your opportunity to gather information and reflect on important life matters you are faced with today or may face tomorrow. These tips and tools will help you make your own decisions about how you want to live.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program starts at 9 a.m. Arrive early to enjoy morning refreshments and stay afterward for a complimentary lunch. This event is free and open to all!
