Let’s hike to Lake Valhalla!

Join us for a beautiful 7 mile(s) hike, and meet some fellow geeks!

We'll be departing from the Smithbrook trailhead off Forest Road 6700, NOT the alternate trailhead at Stevens Pass. A Northwest Forest Pass – annual or day pass, or America The Beautiful annual pass – is required for parking at this trailhead. You can get a one-day Northwest Forest Pass here if you need one: https://store.usgs.gov/forest-pass

• The event start time is the gathering time. Please meet at the Lake Valhalla trail head at that time. We'll leave promptly 15 minutes after the scheduled start time (to give some cushion for late arrivers while still respecting everyone's time). We’ll hike the trail and get to know each other along the way.

• For those that want to grab a bite after our hike, we’ll make plans to grab a bite to eat if there’s interest.

How to find us
Meet at the SMITHBROOK trailhead (NOT the Stevens Pass alternate route). Look for a green VW and a brown dog.
