Lebanon Garden Tour

Stroll through the garden gates in historic Lebanon, Ohio during our 30th Annual Garden Tour sponsored by the Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs, Inc. Come and gather new ideas for your own outside living spaces. Enjoy gardens around three Greek Revival circa 1845 mansions. See what has been done in a contemporary neighborhood backyard where cards are played at night under the stars and strings of lights.  An Amish built greenhouse sits behind a cottage home built in the 1930's.  Check out the watering systems for hanging planters and window boxes at two locations. A 70' slide to a pool is featured at one garden with an outside shower. Raised vegetable gardens are at two gardens. One gardener enjoys organic gardening while several have rain barrels and compost areas. Talk to the gardeners to see how they solved gardening problems or how they came up with their ideas. We ask that visitors wear a mask to speak with gardener hosts or volunteers.  Social distancing measures will be in place. Three properties of our gardens are more than three acres.   Lebanon Garden Tour is held on June 27 & 28, 2020 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. Pick up maps and directions to the gardens at the Lebanon Station, 198 S. Broadway, Lebanon, OH 45036. Self-guided  tour of five private gardens and two public gardens. Benefits the Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs, Inc. $15 the days of the tour and can be purchased at the Train Station. Cash or check are preferred and credit card use may be available. Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance online at  https://www.wchsmuseum.org/gardentour.html  . Children 12 and under are free. Public Restrooms are available during the tour.  Please wear comfortable walking shoes to tour the gardens and bring a bottle of water. The historic town of Lebanon offers quaint shopping and eating establishments.
