Learning Sign Language in Banbury

Beginners' Course Banbury October 31st
Sign Together UK is pleased to announce we will be holding our beginners course in Banbury - venue will be Banbury and Bicester College

 

Starting on Tuesday 31st October 2023 at 7pm and runs every Tuesday there after for 12 weeks.

 

Sign Together UK runs affordable BSL courses for anyone who wishes to learn.

We offer a high level of teaching both in Sign and verbal explanation so our students fully understand how this beautiful language works. We believe and support equality and diversity.

Sign Together's continuing mission is to bridge hearing and deaf communities by giving more people a new method of communication.
 

Our courses are accredited by Signature as recognised by Ofqual (the Office of the Regulator for Qualifications, Examinations and Assessments in England).

Our exams are charged separately at the end of the course. You will be assessed on the following units.

 

BSL101: Introduction to BSL

BSL102: Conversational BSL

BS 103: Communication

Week 7 - Family, Descriptions and Clothing

Week 8 - Recap and Practice 2

Week 9- Food and Drink

Week 10 - Home and Hobbies

Week 11 - Recap and Practice 3

Week 12 - Conversation and Receptive Practice

 

Please note our courses are accredited by Signature and we charge separately for Signature exams at the end of the course, should you wish to take them. Those taking exams will be awarded a Signature Level 1 BSL Qualification upon passing exams.

Assessment fees - £160 - Not charged at point of sale.

Classes are approximately 15 students to maintain a good level of teaching and concentration on each student.
