Kawaii means adorable or cute in Japanese. We'll have open Kawaii inspired shopping featuring: the cutest handmade jewelry for all budgets, adorable bath and bodycare, delightful hand poured candles, charming locally made snacks and sweets, darling art and prints, captivating handmade decor, punch needle and delicate embroidery, streetfood and live music
Musical guests are:
Celestial, sincere, youthful, and banging. Vancouver-raised singer-songwriter/producer and multi-instrumentalist Haleluya Hailu has become a local musical staple.Hailu has managed to turn the stress and angst of growing up and not recognizing yourself into music that anyone could see themselves in.
Anna Katarina is an indie Canadian-American Indie singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (vocals, keys, guitars) and performer known for her honest voice, bold lyrics, and diverse compositions, often described as a modern mélange of Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crow, sitting somewhere between pop and Americana. She is gearing up to tour Europe in May 2023, followed by an Official Showcase at Toronto’s NXNE Festival in June, and a summer Western USA solo tour.
Adam Ambrose is a 23-year-old pop/rock acoustic singer/songwriter from Calgary, Alberta. Adam draws inspiration from listening to Twenty One Pilots, J. Cole, David Bowie, The Cranberries and Ed Sheeran. He gained a lot of early support from Danny Patton, a Juno award-winning producer who has worked with artists like Jann Arden, Rage Against The Machine, Tegan and Sara. Adam's debut EP Little Green Cabins was picked up by big playlists on Spotify like New Music Friday and the EP has garnished over 160k streams on Spotify in only a few weeks. A few years later adam went viral tik tok getting over 300k followers on tik tok. Currently, Adam is working on his self-produced debut album in Vancouver, BC, with his team and has released his song "radio" and "raincoat" to his fans. The release of the album is meant to come later 2023!
