Please join us this Friday, December 4@ 6pm for K-Art at Home: Tae Eun Kim, the final virtual exhibition of the 2020 Korean Media Art Series, featuring the futurist multimedia works of Korean artist Tae Eun Kim, whose vividly imagined cityscapes incorporate themes of politics, society, science, and history.

Kim employs a variety of digital techniques in his art, including 2D photo collage, 3D animation, rendered graphics, stop motion animation, and drawing. With Wrong Planet Landscape, Kim reimagines a modern city such as Seoul, evolving familiar landscapes in such a way as to seem vaguely familiar yet otherworldly.

Releasing December 4 on KCCDC social media video platforms, K-Art at Home: Tae Eun Kim will feature ten of the artist's multimedia works, plus a recorded talk by the artist offering an added inside look at his creative themes, process, and inspirations.
