Journey to Bethlehem

On Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Tyro UMC invites everyone to celebrate this joyous Christmas season by traveling along with Mary and Jospeh to Bethlehem. The 30+ scenes with include numerous live animals and over 150 men, women and children portraying life as it might have been during His time on earth. In additon to scenes from His birth, you will witness several of His miracles and well known Bible stories. You will travel through scenes of a typical village and past the events leading up to and including His crucificion. You will see the empty tomb, doubting Thomas and finally the Ascension. Each year approximately 2000 individuals join us for this free event! The event is located at 4484 NC Highway 150 in Tyro and there will be directional signs to follow. Buses are welcome.
