Easter, also called Pascha (Aramaic, Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday, is the day commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD…….

Wesak or Vesak is widely celebrated throughout the world and is considered the most powerful and important day of the year, commemorating the birth, enlightenment and death of the Budda……

For esotericists it is the high point of the spiritual year when forces of enlightenment flow from the higher worlds into the mind of humanity……

It occurs every year with the full moon in Taurus, usually in April or May, at which point the Budda comes down from his place in the solar system and blesses his disciples in the Himalayas on the eve of Wesak, who in turn bless the rest of the world……

The day is observed as a public holiday in many Southeast Asian countries.
