JH Nordic Alliance's 5th Annual Free Ski, Fat Bike and Snowshoe Day at Turpin Meadow Ranch is happening on Sunday, January 8th, 2023 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. This is a family-friendly free event for all ages and all abilities to enjoy outdoor winter trails recreation at Turpin Meadow Ranch in Moran, WY, just 1-hour drive north of Jackson.

The event includes a free trail pass and free demos of cross-country skis, skate ski gear, fat bikes, and snowshoes from  Skinny Skis, JD Outfitters, Teton Mountain Bike Tours, and other local outdoor and bike shops and suppliers, Aside from free demos, there are free ski lessons for classic and skate skiing with Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation, and the JH Ski and Snowboard Club, Bridger-Teton U.S. Forest Service winter nature talks, snowshoe tours with Hole Hiking Experience and back-country Nordic ski tours with JH EcoTour Adventures. There will be coffee, snacks, lunch, hot and cold beverages, and the Kid's Corral with first-time skiing and sledding. Friends of Pathways is the featured Nordic Alliance non-profit sponsoring this year's special Raffle that can not be missed.

This community event gives access to free winter trail recreation in the Greater Teton region of Wyoming for the visitor and the local community. Dogs are welcome as well (on leash in the Ranch area).

Attendees are encouraged to pre-register to reserve their spot on the trails. The electronic waiver will be available soon at jhnordic.com/annualevent. The past two events each attracted over 600 attendees, and this year the event is capped at 500 attendees. Carpooling is encouraged.

For Public Health measures, all activities will be outdoors in open spaces. We recommend staying at home if you are sick or if you have any symptoms for the safety of those around you.
