Isaac Kennedy Celebration of Life

Isaac Kennedy, 7/6/43-3/30/20, will be celebrated by friends and family at 2:00 on August 22, 2021, at Pavilion 2 of Pine Ridge Park in Blairsville, PA. Music, memories, games, disc golf, and light refreshments will be available. Please bring a chair or blanket as seating may be limited. 

Ike was a long-time employee of Torrance State Hospital, from which he retired in 2004. He moved to Indiana County from the Greencastle, PA area in the early 1970s. He was a fun-loving and generous father of four: Zaye Green (of Charleston, WV), Heather Kennedy (of Blairsville, PA), Isaac Kennedy (of Clarksburg, PA), and Brandi Kennedy (of Macungie, PA). Isaac enjoyed bowling at Mohawk and Lincoln Lanes. He enjoyed Bingo at Tunnelton and Crab Tree for many years. He loved to take trips to the casino. He loved to play disc golf. Ike was a good friend and neighbor. 

The pandemic stole many things from many people, including the opportunity to celebrate the lives of people who were lost during that time period. While Isaac was a humble man who never wanted to be the center of attention, he did love get-togethers with music, food, and games, so we would like to celebrate his life by doing some of his favorite things in one of his favorite places. Everyone who knew and loved him is invited to attend.
