Int’l Conference on Environment and Biodiversity (ICEB 2025)

Int’l Conference on Environment and Biodiversity (ICEB 2025) is scheduled to take place from November 28th to 30th, 2025, in the beautiful city of Xiamen, China. It will focus on cutting-edge research in areas such as environmental safety and health, hydrology and water resources engineering, environmental chemistry and biology, environmental restoration and ecological engineering, hazardous substances and detection technologies, and the future of green transition and biodiversity. The core objective of this conference is to establish a vibrant and intellectually stimulating platform that facilitates the exchange of the most recent and cutting-edge research findings, as well as the sharing of state-of-the-art research methodologies among scholars, researchers, and professionals in the field.

 

Xiamen, an enchanting island city, is steeped in a rich and eventful history, replete with tales of pirates, rebel leaders, and European merchants. It is now connected to mainland Fujian via a causeway, yet still retains a distinct and alluring international charm. Historically known as Amoy in the West, Xiamen has a long and illustrious history as a port city. In the 19th century, it emerged as a prominent center of British trade. The foreign settlements, which were initially established on the nearby small Gulangyu Island and later occupied by Japanese invaders at the onset of World War II, have left behind a remarkable legacy of numerous well-preserved old treaty-port and colonial buildings in Western architectural styles. In the early 1980s, Xiamen was designated as one of China's first Special Economic Zones, capitalizing on its historical status as a trading hub and its geographical proximity to Taiwan. Today, Xiamen stands as one of China's most captivating and meticulously maintained resort cities.
