Internationally Certified Professional Makeup Artist Course

This course is one-of-a-kind in Kerala. It's a hands-on training course with individual makeup stations, whereby limited number of students are trained in various aspects of makeup. The Professional Makeup Course is an integral program of our Makeup Training Studio structured specifically to train Beginners from scratch.

The course focuses on variety of primary makeup styles including bridal makeup and makeup for special events taught in HD Induk Makeup Methodology (Makeup methodology combining Indian and UK Methods).  Face Palette's Professional Makeup Course has been exclusively structured by Makeup expert Lekshmi Menon by curating different standardized methods, formulations and textures which is accepted in the Global World of Makeup Artistry. The course has both Theory and Practicals whereby students are given hands on training by Lekshmi herself and taught through every makeup process in detail.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

This course has 5 sessions over the course of 2 months. The 1st session is a TEN full days of training at The Face Palette studio where the course would cover topics such as :​

5. Prepping skin and different Formulations

6. Removing Makeup right

7. Makeup Brushes and its uses

8. Makeup Artist Kit

9. Creating Perfect Canvas - Foundation, Concealer, Powder

10. Colour Correction Theory 

11. Eye Morphology

12. Eye shadow Blending Techniques and Tools

13. Learn to perfect Mono tone / Duo Tone and Trio Tone eyes

14. Learn Classic Smokey eye and Soft Smokey eyes

15. Contouring and Highlighting using Cream and Powders

16. Filling Eyebrows perfectly

17. Application of Eyeliner

18. False Eyelash Application  - Strip lashes

19. Lipstick Formulation and Application techniques

20. Professional Conduct and Etiquette of Makeup Artistry​

After TEN full days of the 1st session at the studio, the next 3 sessions will be through distance learning and online classes and for the 5th session, students will be sit for an examination . The other 4 sessions of the course will continue as follows​

  • When - Two weeks after the 1st session.

  • Duration - One hour

  • Location - Feedback session through phone call​

• Session 3

  • When - 2 weeks after 2nd session

  • Duration - One hour

  • Location - Feedback session through phone call​

• Session 4 

  • When - 2 weeks after 3rd session

  • Duration - One hour

  • Location - Feedback session through phone call​

• Session 5

  • When - 2 weeks after 4th session

  • Duration - 4 hours. Students will be given Theoretical and Practical Examination

  • Location - The Face Palette Studio. On specific request, this can be conducted online.
