Improv Workshop with Shawn Wickens

Krackpots Comedy Club conveniently located at 14 Lincoln Way W. Massillon, Oh 44647 is thrilled to announce a one day Improv workshop.
There are a limited number of spaces available for this one day event.
Using introductory principles and exercises, participants will learn and practice some basic improvisational techniques. Students can expect to walk away from this class with a better understanding of “what’s funny” and also receiving a bit of “stage time”. Participation is strongly encouraged. Instructor is experienced in creating a safe environment in which all may thrive
All Experience Levels Welcome . This workshop is designed for individuals 17 years of age and older.
About the Instructor.....Shawn Wickens is a retired NYC window washer and an award-winning comedian.He can barely be seen in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Mr. Robot, High Maintenance and playing a prison warden in the international film Amar Akbar Anthony (2018).Time Out New York says, “Expect a set that is hilarious, delirious and refreshingly raw.” His shows have been Critics’ Picks by Pittsburgh City Paper, Rochester City News, and The Athens News.Shawn Wickens is co-founder of Bad Theater Fest / Bad Film Fest and co-host of the talk show parody, Stoner Morning Show.
