"Hop, SCIP, Jump and Run"

Grab your kids and masks and head over to Antelope Park on June 4th for an evening of outdoor fun benefiting School Community Intervention and Prevention (SCIP).  "Hop, SCIP, Jump and Run," brought to you by Family Health and Wellness Center, PC, returns after a one-year absence due to COVID-19.  This year's event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will feature a variety of booths and activities sponsored by local nonprofits. Visit a pre-set number of booths and activities, and you can enter your name into a drawing for prizes donated by local businesses such as the Lincoln Escape Room, Runza, Raising Cane's, Tiger Rock Academy, Cupcakes and More, Eileen's Cookies and Papio Fun Park.  
After visiting booths, put on your running shoes for a 1-mile Fun Run throughout the park. Registration for the Fun Run is $15 per person and includes an event t-shirt if you sign up before May 21st.   You can also sign up to run the night of the event if you choose.  The top three finishers of the Fun Run will receive prizes.  Kids under age 9 must be accompanied by an adult.  To register in advance, go to www.scipnebraska.com.  
Those who prefer not to participate in the Fun Run can attend for FREE!!  B107.3 will be on site playing music, and we'll have Julie's Hot Dogs "Dog Sled" food truck selling an array of gourmet hot dogs.  To ensure everyone's health and safety, face masks will be required except during the Fun Run or while eating.  Social distancing and sanitation measures will also be implemented.
