Anyone can go to the grocery store and buy a case of beer, but where is the fun in that? The real adventure is learning the art of homebrewing so that you can brew your own beer. We understand that brewing your own beer can be intimidating and we want to help ensure you have an incredible first experience brewing your own beer. Join us for a series of three classes as we explore the art of homebrewing.

Homebrewing 101 comes with everything you need to brew this batch of beer and to continue brewing for many years to come. Once your order has been placed, we will ship a 5-gallon brew kit, a 5-gallon pot and the ingredients needed to make a pale ale. When all is said and done, not only will you have the equipment and skills needed to keep brewing, but 48 homemade beers to share with your friends. The only thing not provided with your purchase is the bottles you will use to bottle the beers. You can either purchase bottles off Amazon and have them shipped to you, or save/collect bottles over the next few weeks so that you are ready to bottle when the 3rd class starts.

Session 1 - Brewing Day (Aug 23): This session will last approximately 3 hours and will include reviewing all contents in the ingredients and equipment kits, beginning the brewing process, and discussing what to expect over the next week and an overview of the next steps.

Session 2 - Conditioning (Aug 30): This session will last approximately 1 hour and will cover the conditioning process, transferring beer to secondary vessel, gravity reading/ABV equation, an overview of the next steps, and discussion of preparations required for the final session.

Session 3 - Bottling (Sept 13): This session will last approximately 1.5 hours and will cover a bottling overview, equipment setup, sugar preparation, transfer to bottling bucket, bottling/capping, and cleaning/storage.
