All tours leave from Hopewood at 365 Sherwood Dr S, Flat Rick NC Transportation to gardens is provided by HFR Inc. Saturday morning tour will enjoy a picnic lunch on return to Hopewood and the Saturday afternoon tour will have lunch prior to tour departure. Shop the garden vendors supporting the event and participate in the silent auction which includes a special Georgia Bonesteel garden quilt and a painting from Charleston artist Marty Whaley Adams Cornwell plus much more.
Historic Flat Rock Inc has for 51 years worked to preserve and protect Flat Rock. 45 years ago HFR Inc.was responsible for creating the largest historic district in NC, on the National Register of Historic Places. Additionally HFR Inc has been instrumental in preserving and protecting 24 properties, small and large, in the historic district.
