Hike for Hospice – Delta

Celebrate life, honour loved ones, and support compassionate end-of-life care in our community. The Hike for Hospice is a national pledge-based event, and all funds raised go directly toward the Heron Hospice Society’s programs and services in Delta.

Walk or run 1 km, 3 km, or 5 km — solo or as part of a team. Rally your friends, family, coworkers, or walking group and hike in honour or memory of someone special. Dogs are welcome too!

This year’s hike falls on Mother’s Day, making it a beautiful opportunity to walk in tribute to a mother, grandmother, or caregiver in your life.

Event Schedule
9:00 AM – Registration opens, music and activities
9:30 AM – Welcoming remarks
9:45 AM – Warm-up session
10:00 AM – Hike begins
11:15 AM – Pledge tally, awards, and prize draws

BONUS:
Participants receive an event kit (while supplies last).
You must be present to win prizes and awards.

Location and Accessibility
Paterson Park is located at the corner of Ladner Trunk Road and Highway 17A, just across from the Ladner Bus Exchange. The accessible gravel track is approximately 1000 steps or 0.5 miles. Street parking is available, along with parking at the nearby Ladner Leisure Centre.
