This year has been tough, and we could all do with a laugh - so why not join us and NatWest on an immersive Virtual Reality Event!

Operating remotely has brought new and different challenges to our work, and indeed many business owners across the country. This event aims to help women and men thrive in the workplace, build their confidence - and boost their mood in this turbulent time.

The Pressure To Perform When Things Get Tough with Rachel Creeger

Rachel recently performed at a virtual conference in Helsinki taking part in a series of online sessions about how the impact of CV19 has affected a variety of people. The most common comment was that this will be a time of peak creativity - after all, Shakespeare wrote King Lear while in isolation from the plague! Those are quite big shoes to fill… but Rachel will give you a few tips on how to up your game creatively.

Rachel Creeger is an award-winning comedian, director, writer and resident MC at London’s pro comedy club ‘Upstairs at the Adam and Eve’. She is the only practising orthodox Jewish woman on the UK comedy circuit and a regular guest on BBC Radio London.

Press Mute When You Need To Scream with Jo Fletcher-Cross

In these curious times we’re expected to be ready to go in an instant - Zoom calls and constant emails mean everyone has us at their fingertips, all the time. Beyond making sure you wear trousers for video calls and pressing mute when you need to scream, what’s the best way to cope with new pressures and demands? In her corporate role, Jo is often called upon to present high-profile events to a demanding international audience; now she’s dealing with delivering those while keeping up with her day-to-day work, a child who needs to be at least mildly educated and a cat who loves to get in on video conferences. She’s gathered some tips to help you be your best, even when the dog is eating your desk or your child is smearing jam on your ankles.

Jo Fletcher-Cross is a journalist, editor, playwright and stand-up comedian. By day she is editorial manager at an independent publishing house and content specialist, overseeing more than 50 publications a year as well as major events, awards, digital and video products. By night she performs stand up around the UK and overseas, including at the prestigious Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, and delivers comedy and writing workshops.
