Hartford LUNG FORCE Walk

Join us at the LUNG FORCE Walk on Sunday, June 5, 2022, the American Lung Association’s signature event to support and promote lung health. Stroll, saunter, or power-walk through Great River Park in East Hartford: all are welcome! Why not take in the beautiful views of the Connecticut River, and Downtown Hartford to support the 37 million Americans suffering from lung diseases.   

The LUNG FORCE Walk provides critical funds for lifesaving research, early detection initiatives, and pandemic defense and prevention through our COVID-19 $25M Action Initiative and vaccine outreach.  

For those who are not able to attend the event, there is even a Walk Your Way virtual option. Choose a personal challenge for you, whether that be walking or running outside in a nearby park or hiking your favorite trail. It’s your challenge, your way! No matter when, how, or where you participate, you will be active alongside a large community helping those impacted by lung cancer and lung disease.  

We walk for people. For patients and their loved ones. For colleagues and neighbors. For everyone affected by lung disease. We walk because together we can defeat lung cancer and lung disease one step at a time.
