Private tutor live online at Teachbeach. Lessons start with foundational exercises that encourage good posture and technique, and then develop into repertoire. Music genres include healing music, folk, celtic, classical and jazz, and improv. Other genres are possible as well. Just let me know what you like, and we’ll see if we can create it on your harp.

You’ll get a deep foundation all aspects of harp and piano playing, and vocal training, if desired.

breathwork

You do not need to be able to read music, though it is helpful. I have a few harps for rent until you are ready to purchase your own. Fortunately, we also have a harp store right here in Denver – Kolacny Music – for more options.

For more dedicated and classically-minded students, I offer Royal Conservatory training and exams. For the CCM musician, I offer training in chord theory and improv.

Contact me today for your trial lesson: text 808-345-0127. The first lesson is always free.

I teach however the student learns best, using tunes that are familiar and fun. I use favorite songs as the basis for chord theory, note reading, rhythm reading, and performance prep. I have been teaching for more than 30 years, and am a performing harpist and composer. As one student, Suni Smith, says: "Cymber makes everything possible."

Specialties: 1) Harp - technique, theory, performance prep, and improv. 2) Vocal Strength Training, using Somatic Voicework, The LoVetri Method for pop, musical theater, classical and more. 3) Piano - using chords for playing by ear, reading, performance prep, and improv.
