Handel's Messiah at College Street Congregational Church

The Choir of College Street Congregational Church partners with two-time JUNO award-winning L'Harmonie des saisons Baroque Orchestra and Vocal Ensemble to present Handel's Messiah. They will be joined by five internationally-acclaimed soloists from Paris, Vancouver, Santiago (Chile), Boston and Montreal. Eric Milnes directs. 

This will be a rare opportunity for the Burlington community to hear this masterpiece of sacred music presented by an internationally acclaimed ensemble of Baroque music specialists, performing on Baroque instruments.

The JUNO award is Canada's version of the Grammy award. Montreal's Ensemble L'Harmonie des saisons has twice been awarded Classcial CD Release of the Year, in 2016, and in 2022. They have also been the recipients of two Opus Awards (Quebec), Fanfare Magazine (Germany) CD of the Month, WQXR Radio New York CD of the Month, and were an AppleMusic classical CD of the Month winner, with over 1.5 million downloads of their recordings.
