GRASS ROOTS LIVE MONTHLY JAZZ SESSION INCOMING! Thu Feb 02 (7pm-12am/Free Entry) - 2023 is in full flow and we are back with our first Grass Roots show of the new year. It's the 1st Thursday of the month, time to head down, get deep and soulful as we unleash a righteous session in jazz and beyond. GRASS ROOTS delivering another blinding, well hot and seriously cool and unique concert from the latest in a line up of stunning up and coming live bands. This month featuring CITYSCAPE (LIVE), a unique and well hot Jazz Fusion band fronted by up and coming Flautist Harry Trevillion, Free Entry at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

Hosted and curated by eclectic veteran DJ MR BOOGIE/SOULSA, if you love jazz music, this one's for you!

CITYSCAPE (LIVE) Band on stage around 9pm, performing 2 live sets.
Cityscape is a band fronted by up-and-coming jazz flautist Harry Trevillion, who has worked with the likes of Steam Down, Charlotte Dos Santos and Gareth Lockrane.

The project's compositions come from personal life experiences, often written around ideas surrounding mental health and observations of London's ever-changing nature.

Musically, the band has a wide range of influences, from the heavy-hitting jazz fusion and progressive rock of Chick Corea and Christian Scott to the more subtle tones of GoGo Penguin and Mammal Hands.

Harry is joined by an amazing assortment of musicians which includes Matt May on bass guitar, Will Rees-Jones on saxophone, Laurie Milton on keys, Ben Glasser on guitar and Ayman Sinada on drums.

Grass Roots is a monthly live music affair which began life at The Vortex Jazz Club in March 2019 before briefly relocating to Notting Hill Arts Club in August 2021, now a resident monthly event at The CLF Art lounge
