Granville Island Festive Lights

Until January 3rd daily from sunset we invite you to stroll our warm and elegant holiday light display. With complimentary parking after 6pm and of course no entrance fee family and friends can walk the expansive grounds of Granville Island's almost 40 acres under the stars or under an umbrella (after all it is winter in Vancouver) and take in a relaxed evening among the lights restaurants bars and taprooms. With multiple entrances on to the "Island" and wide open spaces it's a perfect holiday stroll. Highlights include a stunning oversized star in the centre of the Public Market courtyard which changes colour for the occasion the Edison bulbs along Railspur Artisan District giant musical notes among the trees that surround the theatres a perfect star looking over Alder Bay in Ron Basford Park a canopy of lights hidden in a secret location glowing benches and more! Off the Tracks Café will be offering a special festive lights menu from 5pm - 9pm daily for that extra coziness only a cuppa something warm can provide!

And remember late-night magic awaits at Railspur Alley the next two Fridays December 15 and 22! Many of our artisans will have extended hours Friday evening so you can shop dine and soak in the holiday magic late into the evening. @offthetracksbistro and @tldistillery will also be open late and offering new late-night menus featuring holiday specials! #themagicishere
