The Grand Teton Music Festival's 61st season will be held from July 3-August 27, 2022. Join us for eight weeks of performances under the leadership of Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles.

Pianist Garrick Ohlsson kicks off the Festival Orchestra series at Walk Festival Hall with a Beethoven Piano Extravaganza—performing all five concerti over two evenings. Other highlights include Mahler's "Resurrection" Symphony with soloists and the GTMF Chorus, plus guest appearances by the St. Lawrence String Quartet, pianist Ingrid Fliter, violinist Augustin Hadelich, cellist Johannes Moser and GTMF/LA Phil Principal Trumpet Thomas Hooten. Markus Stenz returns as guest conductor; Eun Sun Kim and Dalia Stasevska make their debuts. The Festival Orchestra series culminates in a blockbuster weekend with Puccini's La Bohème, semi-staged in concert, featuring six renowned opera soloists.

Crowd-favorite Capathia Jenkins joins us again as vocalist for our Patriotic Pops concert at the Center for the Arts Park. A free Family Concert will also be presented outdoors.

The Gateway Series returns with four diverse artists and ensembles: jazz trumpeter Byron Stripling with vocalist Carmen Bradford, GRAMMY®-winning singer/songwriter Aoife O'Donovan, vocal ensemble VOCES8 and a Broadway evening with Andy Einhorn and friends. The world-class talents of the Festival Orchestra musicians are featured as part of a seven-concert chamber music series. A new Sunday matinee piano recital series showcases virtuosic pianists: Joyce Yang, Inon Barnatan and the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold Medalist. Select performances will be streamed online.
