This year's treasured presentation of Lenten and Easter Meditations will begin the journey at the manger where Lessons and Carols left off. This years' service will begin with four "foreshadowing" Christmas carols all in the key of e minor: Paul Edwards' - No Small Wonder, John Tavener's - The Lamb, Tchaikovsky's - The Crown of Roses, and Anne Heider's – Poor Little Jesus. Setting the stage for why Christ humbled Himself into our world, the choir will move next to Palm Sunday's triumphant entrance into Jerusalem and continue on to the Garden of Gethsemane and ultimately to the cross. In the final portion of the program, the choir will conclude by singing two splendid Easter anthems.

Among the featured music will be compositions by William Byrd, Kenneth Leighton, Bob Chilcott, Philip Ledger, Samuel Wesley and others.

Join us and once again and be heartened as your Grand Rapids Choir of Men and Boys sings the greatest story ever told!
