Our Choir will offer the evening canticles in C by C.V. Stanford, which feature his majestic, broad concluding "Gloria" at the end of both the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis.

The Introit will be a new setting of George Herbert's "The Call" by American composer Mack Willberg. The Preces and Responses are a setting by Philip Stopford, his "Queen's Responses." Psalm 138 will be sung to a setting by Charles Lloyd, and the concluding anthems are both new to our choir: "The Souls of the Righteous Are in the Hand of God," by Geraint Lewis; and "Lauds," a setting of another George Herbert poem, by George Dyson.

Come, join with us as we sing to bring—and become—light in our world, which so dearly needs the path before us to be lit with the light of our Creator.

GRCMB's Associate Director of Music, Matthew Owens, returns from Belfast to lead the choir in its opening program of the year.
