Global Economy & Governance - Challenges in Turbulent Era

This is the fifth edition of the international scientific conference entitled: Global Economy and Governance  - Challenges in Turbulent Era  (GEG 2017), organized by National School of Political Studies and Public Administration, Romanian Academy – Institute for Economic Forecasting, Ocean University of China, National University of Taiwan, Ming Chuang University.

The conference is also an event that celebrates the 10-th anniversary of Contemporary Economic – scientific quarterly journal. The Conference will take place in October 23-24, 2017 in Warsaw, Poland.

The purpose of the current edition of the Conference is to establish a forum for the access to the latest theoretical and empirical knowledge on both contemporary economics and management (including administering and governance).

These year GEG Conference consists of following main tracks:

• Development Economics
• Social Value and Governance
• Global Business and Trade

The best of the papers presented at the conference will be published as scientific articles in prestigious international journals with an Impact Factor, for example:

• Ekonomska Istrazivanja – Economic Research; Impact Factor (2016): 0.742; 5-Year Impact Factor: 0.559
• European Journal of Political Economy; Impact Factor (2016): 1.098; 5-Year Impact Factor: 1.466
• International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal,  Impact Factor (2016): 1.312; 5-Year Impact Factor: 1.935
• International Review of Economics and Finance; Impact Factor (2016): 1.261; 5-Year Impact Factor: 1.363
• Romanian Journal of Economic Forecasting; Impact Factor (2016): 0.238; 5-Year Impact Factor: 0.232

Some of papers will be published in international journals that do not have an Impact Factor (for example: Contemporary Economics; Defense and Peace Economics; Holistica Journal of Business and Public Administration) and the rest of them in a peer-reviewed scientific monograph.
