GI-Oncology 2021 | 17. Interdisciplinary update | VIRTUAL

The GI-Oncology Update will take place from 11.-12. June 2021 in a virtual format. To this end, we have developed an expanded concept with exciting topics and plenty of space for interactive scientific exchange. We have extended the time frame to 2 days in order to do justice to the interactive concept.
As before, the focus of the event is the clinical benefit of new therapy concepts and the discussion of new perspectives for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors. The sessions remain organ-related but have a clear focus on inter- and multidisciplinary diagnostics and therapy. Of course, "tumor-agnostic" and supportive concepts will also play a role, including immunotherapeutic approaches, new inhibitors, but also the management of complications of a tumor such as thrombosis.
We would like to present you the latest study results from the entire spectrum of gastrointestinal oncology and put them into clinical practice. In the program you will therefore again find an oncology "hotspot", in which completely new information from current congresses such as the American Cancer Congress (ASCO 2021) is concisely presented.
