Gaming for Good

Support area youth in improving their reality with a hands-on experience at Northeast Wisconsin's only virtual reality arcade! EdgeVR is partnering with Shelter in the Storm to offer this exclusive event, including guided virtual reality experiences, open gaming opportunities, an improv comedy show, food, drinks and more!

What to expect:
5:45 p.m. Doors open, browse raffles, get your complimentary drink!
6 to 7 p.m. Playtime: Virtual Reality and other gaming systems
7 p.m. Introduction to Shelter in the Storm
7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Improv Comedy Show
8:15 to 8:45 p.m. Networking, group gaming and raffles.
8:45 p.m. Raffle announcements and Thank You's

*Tickets cost $80 per person and include all gaming experiences, comedy improv show, 1 complimentary beverage and food. Food and drink details to be announced at a later date.

*Pizza, chicken wings, nonalcoholic drinks and bottled beer and seltzers also available for sale during the event.

Group games available include:
- Loco Dojo. Take turns to spin the wheel of a central board game and launch one of sixteen marvelously mad mini-games in which to compete with your rivals for Grand Sensei's favor. (Think Mario Party in VR) https://youtu.be/7n58se1FTeE

About Shelter in the Storm
Our mission at Shelter in the Storm is to help the teens in the Green Bay area lead, safe, healthy, productive lives by giving them the tools they need to accomplish this and help them reach their goals.

We are a startup nonprofit and currently offer tutoring and mentoring to students at Green Bay West High School. Our goal is to grow our program further in the 2023-24 school year, with volunteers at additional sites and to establish a home base for Shelter in the Storm's after school programs.
