Funhouse Comedy Club - Socially Distanced Comedy Night in Lutterworth, Leics May 2021

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at The Wycliffe Rooms, Lutterworth on Sunday May 30th, with a socially distanced night full of laughter.

Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."

Headlining the launch is slightly camp, middle-class funnyman Hal Cruttenden. Having a background in professional acting he has made numerous TV appearances, including 'Live at The Apollo', 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow', 'The Royal Variety Performance', 'The Rob Brydon Show', 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief', 'Would I Lie To You', 'Sunday Night at the Palladium', 'Mock The Week', 'The Great British Bake Off - Extra Slice', 'Celebrity Squares', and Pointless Celebrities. With his ability to mix the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political he delivers an energetic and absorbing performance.

Support from UK-based, French comedian and raconteur Marcel Lucont. Having toured the world with his dry wit, bawdy chansons and exquisite poetry he has the audience laughing from start to finish. His deadpan delivery and surreal musings are both inspirational and fascinating.

Completing the line-up will be the fantastic El Baldiniho, who recently appeared on 'Britain's Got Talent', with his individual style of comedy magic and mind-reading.

Compere for the night is the warm and welcoming Spiky Mike.
