Funhouse Comedy Club - New Comedy Night in Stamford February 2022

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Stamford Arts Centre, on Friday February 24th.

Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."

Topping the bill is Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2018 and finalist in British Comedian of the Year 2022, the cheeky Jack Gleadow, hailing from Hull and claiming to have illegitimate Chuckle Brothers heritage, he is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today. 

Opening the night will be the personable Wilson with his amusing crowd interaction, mixture of sharp observations, pinpoint accents and curveball one liners.

Completing the line-up is 'Brummie' funny man Tom Christian joint winner of 2015 Midland Comedy Awards New Act with his wonderfully clever routines and complex and silly wordplay.

Compere for the night will be winner of  Silver Stand Up Competition 2022, the cheery and chatty Nik Hill.
